  1. One of my favorite westerns. Quite traditional, in many ways. I love the new digs, btw.

  2. Thanks, Rick.

Couple of interesting points about this movie:

1.) What a cast. Every time you watch it you recognize someone new.

2.) Who is George P. Cosmatos? He directed Rambo II, and this. Apparently Kevin Jarre initially sat in the director's chair for this movie but he was booted for Cosmatos.

3.) No critical or awards love for any aspect of Tombstone? Literally, not even a nomination in a third-tier awards other than Kilmer's MTV Movie Award nod for Most Desirable Male. He lost to Billy Baldwin in Sliver. No joke, that is the awards legacy for this movie.

  3. Great selection Daniel. Post one of the harmonica scenes from Once Upon a Time in the West next.

  4. Good call, though that may be more appropriate as a Perfect Scene, Perfect Song selection.

  5. Yeah, you can pretty much never go wrong with a Tombstone clip. They're all winners.

  6. The hard part was picking and finding the right Holliday clip, since he's probably the most memorable character. This is as good as any clip that I found, other than the low volume.
