When Harry Met Sally (1989). Directed by Rob Reiner; written by Nora Ephron; starring Billy Crystal, Meg Ryan, Carrie Fisher, Bruno Kirby, Steven Ford, and Lisa Jane Persky.
I know - I caught some of City Slickers the other day and was reminded of that. His characters were all pretty similar, but he filled a specialized niche for supporting actors. I can't really think of someone who's taken his place. But then I guess they don't really make movies like this - mature romantic comedies - anymore.
Funny that Pictionary was all the rage back in 1989. I hope board games make a comeback during this recession...
If I had kids, I would definitely buy one of your shirts, Danielle. Thanks for encouraging movie addiction in infancy. I especially love the Godfather and Apocalypse Now designs.
Thanks for stopping by and best of luck with your business!

ReplyDeleteI can't help smirking every time I catch a moment from this film, it's such a well crafted little gem.
So sad to think that the marvellous Bruno Kirby Jr. is no longer with us.
