The first thing I did after watching it was to see what and how many movie nominations it received from the industry. I was shocked to say the least at how the industry snubbed this film and truly shocked how Julianne' performance was critized! I think Julianne, Samuel and the entire supporting cast did a great job. At this point I have no faith in the critics and nominations for films. Truly disappointed 😞 Chief Melhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02467129801557349013noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3435253058176416288.post-64254184122260172042014-11-28T16:28:34.044-06:002014-11-28T16:28:34.044-06:00Great film, great review. Totally agree on both Moore and Jackson but let's give credit to William Forsythe for his great supporting role not like anything we've used to see him in. When I saw the film thought it was a masterpiece and was also sure that Moore must have had a nomination but that was not the case. Film was presented as a thriller here in FInland. To me it was more like a Tsechovian play or short story. Sad and wise and forgiving.
