He doesn't seem to fit to me.

I liked this movie a lot, it reminded me of Love & Basketball - not just because of Sanaa Lathan. Maybe it's just because I love hip-hop and basketball though.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3435253058176416288.post-66896360302479877362009-03-02T13:45:00.000-06:002009-03-02T13:45:00.000-06:00Wow - favorite ever! Well that's not that surprising since I think we share an appreciation for "true" hip-hop.

This movie wasn't that bad, really, but despite appreciating Taye Diggs and Sanaa Lathan, a better movie might have been made about strictly the music, particularly Mos Def's character.

By the way, not sure if you've checked out the new album by K'Naan yet, but I highly recommend it to anyone interested in a fresh, socially conscious voice. Should be considered one of the best early albums of 2009.Danielhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05222052132452709301noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3435253058176416288.post-62636412533673902932009-03-02T12:13:00.000-06:002009-03-02T12:13:00.000-06:00HELL YES! Boogie Nights or any PTA movie is rife with potential. I might take one of Aimee Mann's songs from Magnolia. All depends on what I can find on the intertubes, of course. Even this clip was shortened from the original that I found (it was taken down), which is too bad because it put this clip in context a little better for those who haven't seen the movie.Danielhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05222052132452709301noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3435253058176416288.post-36303166984184045032009-02-27T00:33:00.000-06:002009-02-27T00:33:00.000-06:00I like this feature. I don't know if your familiar with Boogie Nights, but you should do either the drug bust scene or the opening of the film.Mikey Filmmakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10885490730710935270noreply@blogger.com
